NVIDIA has introduced a groundbreaking AI technology which can automatically detect and maintain eye contact on video calls, thus saving people from the pains of having to do it manually.

The "Eye Contact" AI technology is designed to provide the illusion that one is looking, even when they are not actively doing so.

Video conferencing can be a cumbersome task, as you have to continuously switch between looking at the camera and the screen. It is awkward to stare at the camera & feel like you are talking to yourself while looking at the screen makes it seem as if you are not paying attention. If you, like me, find yourself constantly making adjustments to your webcam in order to appear natural on camera, perhaps AI can provide a more convenient solution.

NVIDIA has developed Eye Contact AI, which utilizes AI to make it seem like you are constantly looking at the camera even when you're not. This technology is a game-changer in its space and proves to be highly beneficial. The video promotions they have released display an exceptional similarity to reality. It can be difficult to tell if someone is actually paying attention when there are distractions and obstacles around them. AI technologies are quite impressive in that they can work even when someone is on their phone.

Albeit a bit unnerving at first, the technological ability to maintain eye contact is being greatly appreciated by many who struggle in this area. To make the experience less intense, slight adjustments can be made. For those with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), making eye contact during conversations can be a daunting task, resulting in them appearing disconnected.
